Bridge Software Engineer (Japan)

Job description:

• Act as a liaison between the Vietnamese development team and Japanese clients.
• Gather and analyze client requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.
• Clearly communicate technical specifications and project details between both parties.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and scheduling.
• Assist with the creation and review of technical documentation (if required in Japanese).
• Manage project scope and ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and report on project status to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support bug fixing and issue resolution.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering open communication and trust.

Requirement: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of technology concepts, with a particular interest in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and the metaverse.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a BrSE or similar role.
• Strong fluency in both Japanese (N2 level or higher) and English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively bridge cultural differences.
• Proficient in technical writing and documentation.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC).
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
• Familiarity with common development tools and technologies is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a commitment to accuracy.
• Team player with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.
