Delivery Manager (Japan Market)
Job description:
- Project Delivery Management:
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of projects for Japanese clients, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget compliance.
- Oversee the project lifecycle, from planning and resource allocation to execution and final delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth delivery in a cross-functional environment.
- Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact between Japanese clients and the development team, ensuring alignment on requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns proactively and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Team Management:
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Process Optimization:
- Implement and uphold agile methodologies tailored to client-specific requirements.
- Continuously improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present progress reports, delivery updates, and post-project evaluations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation of project milestones, technical details, and lessons learned.
Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or AR/VR fields.
- Base knowledge and clear understanding of AR/VR technologies. Previous experience in AR/VR projects is a plus but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with AR/VR development processes and tools.
- Proficient in agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
- Language Skills:
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (N2 or higher).
- Proficiency in English for internal communication.
